DISCOVERY OF PARIS : Passages and covered arcades

Covered pasages & arcades

Wednesday, we took advantage of the bad weather to transform ourselves into Parisians of the nineteenth century and walk in the famous covered passages. These galleries pierced in buildings between 1900 and 1950 allowed the bourgeoisie to shop while being protected from the rain. Restaurants in the Passage des Panoramas, shops and artists' studios in the passage of the Grand Cerf, luxury boutiques in the Vivienne gallery or children's toys in the passage des Princes: there was something for everyone! Terminus at Palais Royal.
