The French language is the same for everybody … but every student is different. This is why we offer French programs that are adapted to each student and suited to his/her needs and goals.

All our programs are created according to the Common European Framework of References for Languages.

The first day of class

Upon your arrival, we begin by identifying your needs, using a series of tests, and your training objectives (private,professionals, exams, etc.) by having a personal interview.

It is only by collecting all this information that we can elaborate together a French language program of quality that will fit your goal.

In Class

Because our teaching methods are mainly centred on the student and on his or her needs in language courses, we use different types of materials (handouts, exercises, grammatical reminders, lab tapes, authentic documents, role plays, etc.). Our managing team and the teachers themselves have specially devised most of this material.

The student being at the heart of our work, our pedagogical aim is to get him/her to be active in the classroom. Examples, situations and themes are all taken from everyday life in France. They are all an integral part of both the language and the cultural learning process.

Depending on the aims of the students, we might also be brought to work with past exam papers (DELF or CCIP) or professional materials.

In many cases, the “global simulation” method, whereby students have to speak French respecting certain rules, is often used.
