All year round, the Ecole Suisse Internationale in Dijon hosts pre-established groups of teenagers (over 16 years old), students or adults who follow an intensive program dedicated to the language and the French culture.
We are offering a general program which will be refined according to specific objectives of each group. In this way, every course is organized compared to the number of participants, their financial means and their availability. Thanks to our capacity of adaptation, we present a service of quality and seriousness.
Quite as our Parisian center, the Dijon school follows the levels recommended by the European Council thanks to the Common European Framework of references for Languages (CECR). In order to interact with his/her surrounding, every student must have minimum French skills (required level: A2 from CECR).
For more information, please report to our webpage “teaching methods”.
The program in Dijon is conceived as an immersion program stressed on oral practice. Students will have to practice their French through activities within and without the class room.
The French-speaking environment is widely used in order to improve ease at speech. Indeed, Dijon offers the qualities of a little town in which the practice of educational exercise outside the class is possible.
Cultural activities can be also offered: touring of the city, visit of museums, visit of historical sites, visit of castles, cellar visits, wine or black currant tasting, visits of companies, etc. As possible, the excursions are guided by our teachers, who adapt the rhythm and the contents to the students.
If the group’s objective is an exam, either in professional French with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP), or in general French with the DELF (Diploma in French language studies), we can make plans for a special preparation.
In fact, our school is an official center for the CCIP exams. Numerous groups of students follow an intensive training and take the test at the end. Examinations are organized by us, in the school. In 2010, we are happy to announce 80% success rate for the DFP (Diploma in professional French).
We are also in position to planned sessions for the DELF for groups who wish to take this kind of test at the end of their program.
