Accommodation

In order to provide a greater experience, accommodation in Dijon is with host families (except for special case, one student per home). We have consolidated a great net of families who will de delighted to host foreigner students in a warm and unique atmosphere. Furthermore, this type of housing allows the student to progress greatly in French.

                            

The host families are chosen with good care and live all in the Dijon urban area. Some students will take the bus to the school, other will walk.

Each student will have at his/her disposal a furnished bedroom within the apartment or the house (following in terms the European norm EN 14804). With the host family, the student can experience the “French way of life”, interact with French people and share his/her own culture. The student will be a part of the host family’s private and social life. Then, it is not only a simple housing, but a wonderful occasion to practice the language and to share.

 

Accommodation is half-board. Diner is generally the best moment of the day for speaking together, for trying to know each other and for sharing.

In order to find the best family for each student, it is asked to the participant to fill in with care and attention the registration form. Lots of answers are used as criteria for choosing the host family who will get into contact with the student, most of the time by email or by post, in the month before arrival.
